River Assessment Method Fish Fauna - Fish Classification Scheme 2 (FCS2) Scotland

This classification method enables the assessment of fish in rivers according to the requirements of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). It encompasses fish abundance, taxonomic composition and age structure. It replaces the interim fish classification tool used for the classifications in the first river basin planning cycle.
