User Tips

Registration

First time users are required to 'Register' before they can access any information contained in the database.

Complete all fields in the registration form and click on the submit button. A message will instantly appear providing confirmation of your user name and password.

You will now be able to access the 'Members Area' and view any unrestricted information contained in the database. However, you will not be permitted to edit any existing data until your details have been verified and accepted by the Site Administrator.

Login

Once registered, WFD project information can be accessed by logging into the 'database'.

At the 'Login' page enter your user name and password and click on the 'submit' button. You will then be automatically directed to the 'Members Area'

View, Add and Edit data

While in the 'Members Area' you will be permitted to view project details, add new projects to the database and, depending on your level of user access, edit existing projects.

To view project data select the 'list all projects' link or search by keyword/specific fields. To view complete project details, click on the project title.

To add or edit a project click on the relevant 'add/edit project' link, the proforma and select the 'submit' button. For the project to be successfully added/edit, you must ensure that, as a minimum, all mandatory fields are completed.

Project Validation

Any new projects, or changes made to existing projects will not appear in the database until they have been validated and approved by the Site Administrator.

Print Reports

A number of report formats can be printed directly from the 'Members Area' by selecting the 'print' link. These include:

  • A list of all project titles contained in the database;
  • A list of project titles resulting from a keyword or field search;
  • A list of all project titles plus project descriptions contained in the database;
  • A list of project titles plus descriptions resulting from a keyword or field search; and,
  • Complete results for individual projects.
